Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, full Taylor Alison Swift. American singer/songwriter who has achieved great popularity with her stories she tells of her young heartbreak. Swift's interest in music began at an early stage. From plays for children to performing before thousands, Swift made rapid progress. Swift began writing music in the teen years. Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner for a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. Drawing inspiration from country music artists such as Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original material that reflected her experiences of being a tween and feeling alienated. Swift left Pennsylvania together with her parents, to Hendersonville, Tennessee when she turned 13 to devote more time to contacting country labels.
